Carl commenced his career as a Structural Design Engineer with Weathered Howe in 1990 following completion of his Bachelor of Engineering from QUT. He joined Brisbane City Council in 1991 as Regional Manager, then in 1993 started with Delfin Limited working on the Forest Lake Project on Brisbane’s Southside.
In 1994, Carl transferred north to commence and project manage Delfin’s two Townsville projects, Willow Gardens and Riverside Gardens. The inclusion of projects in Cairns and Darwin saw Carl’s role expanded, to Delfin’s Northern Australian Manager, he was responsible for 5 projects across 3 cities.
In 1999 Carl returned to South-East Queensland in the role of Project Manager – Town Centres for Delfin’s Varsity Lakes Project. In 2003 Carl took on the role of Project Director for Varsity Lakes a 343 ha fully planned urban community.
Now as Delfin’s Senior Project Director Carl is responsible for both the residential and commercial aspects of the Varsity Lakes as well as start up projects in South-East Queensland.
On a personal note, Carl has a close association with, and is currently president of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
