Dr. Evie Katz is currently a social scientist with the Social Values/Sustainability Group at CSIRO Minerals Division, and an Honorary Fellow in the School of Social Sciences at La Trobe University. Her research interests include social studies of science and technology, in particular the area of emerging technologies, and public participatory processes in technology assessment. She was part of a team that for the past 18 months researched the social dimensions of the minerals industry in Australia.
