Karen Lablack

Karen Lablack has been the Director of Population and Migration Division in the Department of Trade and Economic Development since January 2006. Karen’s role involves oversight of the delivery of the South Australian Population Policy of achieving a population of 2 million by 2050.
Karen facilitated the development of a “Population Policy” for Business SA, or the SA Employers Chamber of Commerce in her previous role as the General Manager, Policy.
Karen is also an Executive member of the Australian Population Institute in South Australia and she holds a BSc Hons in Geology and an MBA from the University of Adelaide.
