Leith McEvoy MPIA CPP
Director of Planning and Development, District Council of Grant
Leith was born at Port Pirie, grew up in Adelaide, with my family coming from the Eyre Peninsula, and has spent the past 24 years living and working in the South East/Limestone Coast Region of South Australia. After graduating from the then South Australian Institute of Technology in the early 1980’s, Leith worked in Adelaide for 2 years with Brian Turner & Associates, which is now MasterPlan, before moving to the City of Mount Gambier in 1983. He worked for the City Council as its Senior Planner and then as Manager – Environmental Services until 2002, when he moved to the Wattle Range Council as General Manager – Operations. Since April 2007 Leith has been with the District Council of Grant as its Director of Planning and Development. He is now married, with his wife coming from Millicent, and has 3 children all born in Mount Gambier.
